How to Register

> Register Here <

Athletic and Activities Information 2023 - 2024

Registration for athletic and activities will begin about 1 month prior to the start of the event.  It is strongly encouraged to be registered at least one week prior to the start of your activity to be able to participate in tryouts or practices.

Physical Information

  • Sports qualifying physical exam forms can be found here. This is the copy you should bring to the doctor's office.
  • In order to register, you will need to have an updated physical on file and current in the past 3 years.  The system will not let you register without a physical on file.
  • Physicals must be valid through the end of the varsity season for that sport.
  • Physicals received in the Activities Office will need 48 hours for processing. Most will be process within 24 hours, but using 48 hours in the event it is received on the weekend.  Please make sure all physicals are turned in by the Friday AM before any tryouts as scheduled by the coach.
  • The Activities Office must have entered the date of your current physical in the registration system in order for you to register.  If you receive this message " You need to provide an updated sports physical for registration" and you have provided the Activities Office a copy, please make sure 48 hours have passed for us to process your physical.
  • Please make sure your student has a current physical, which can be checked by going under the Health tab of your Parent Portal account.

Physicals can be emailed, faxed, or brought into the Activities Office. They will be input in the system within the week received.

Free and Reduced Lunch Educational Benefits and Sports Registration

Families must submit a new educational benefits (free and reduced-priced meals) application each year. If your family received free or reduced-priced meals last school year, that same eligibility for meals only will remain in effect for the first 30 days of school or until your application is processed. In order to receive a reduction in sports registration fees, you must apply and be approved for educational benefits for the 23-24 school year.  When applying online at School Café, you will have the ability to give permission for your application status to be shared with others.  By doing so, your free or reduced status will then transfer over to your registration fees. If your student has been directly certified for educational benefits from the state of Minnesota, the Nutrition Services department will send you a letter notifying you of your approval.  The district must also have a Waiver of Confidentiality completed prior to registering for any sport during the 23-24 school year.   This form is emailed to you from the Nutrition Services department or it can be found on the district website under Nutrition Services. This process can take 2-3 business days.  If you need additional information, feel free to contact Colleen Reimer at 651-425-6280.
