Thunderbolts Advance To State
Adapted Soccer plays in the state tournament today at 6:30 PM vs Dakota United at Stillwater High School. The team won 4-3 over Monticello in Section Finals! Best of Luck to the students and Coaches!
The Woodbury Students involved are Logan Curtis, Brayden Curtis, Temesghen Gebrehiwot, Fiona Harris, Aneva Hotchkins, Herbert King and Brett Wedan.

Thunderbolts 2024-2025
Thunderbolt's Soccer:
The soccer program participants are instructed on the skills, positions and rules of the game through practice and games. Games consist of two 20 minute halves and are played indoors on a regulation sized basketball court, with the ball being able to be played off the walls. The ball itself is a felt-covered indoor soccer ball, which is inflated so that it won’t bounce as high as a regular soccer ball. Teams consist of no more than seven players, including a goalkeeper, and six other position players.
Thunderbolt's Soccer 2024-25 Season
The South Washington County Thunderbolts Adaptive Soccer Team is looking for new players for the 2024-2025 season. If you know of a student/player who might be interested, please talk to them about the program and have them sign up for the team.
Practices start on Tuesday, Sept 10 @ Park High School. If you have any questions please contact Coach Jeff Figlmiller jfiglmil1@sowashco.org 651-425-4448.
Parent meeting will be Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 4:50pm, at Park High School in the Activity Center.

Thunderbolts Advance to State!!
Congratulations to the Thunderbolts, The South Washington County Adapted Soccer Team, for advancing to State! They advanced after winning 3-1 over the Northwest Suburban Team. They will play Dakota United on Friday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 PM at Stillwater High School. Members on the team from Woodbury are Sarah Badeski, Fiona Harris, Abigail Nathlich, Lydia Osburn & Nolan Valens.
