Woodbury showed no mercy to either team of Raiders, destroying Roseville 70-3 and Cretin Derham-Hall 74-6.  In the other match of the evening, Roseville beat CDH 53-25.

Against Roseville, Woodbury got out to a 46-0 lead before the Raiders were able to put any points on the board.  Winning for Woodbury:  Alex Braun (fall), Antonio Rizzo (dec), Cole West (fall), Brady Moesenthin (fall), Nick Howe (fall), Sam Ellis (fall), Brock Rinehart (fall), Ahmed Abdelal (fall), Donald Nde (dec), Mason Barrows (fall) and Trenton Willner, who picked up his first varsity win with a tough 1-0 decision.

Cretin Derham-Hall chose to forfeit at 8 weights, giving the Royals 48 free points.  Other winners for Woodbury were Cade Johnson (fall), Will Bents (fall), Ellis (fall), Omar Abdelal (major dec) and Nde (major dec).

For the Junior Varsity, Logan Ryan was 1-1, Phil Wiggins 1-1, Omar Abdelal 1-0, Ryan Holt 1-0, Noah Golden 1-0, Caleb Howe 1-0, Dave Hawley 1-0, Nashawn Hoyer 1-0, Thomas Moesenthin 1-0, Ethan Chaney 1-0, Cedric Ramos 1-0 and Gavin Wilson 1-0.

On Saturday, Nick Howe and Ahmed Abdelal will compete at the 9th Grade and Under State Tournament at Champlin Park HS.  Action begins there at 8:30am.

The Varsity and Junior Varsity will compete at the Armstrong Duals at Robbinsdale Armstrong HS with action starting at 9:00am.  Competing teams include Armstrong, Delano, Chaska/Chanhassen, Eastview, Faribault, Goodhue, Mahtomedi, Maple Grove, Mounds View, Rogers, South St Paul and St Michael-Albertville.
