Cole West and Brock Rinehart reached the podium Saturday night to earn All-State honors at the MSHSL State Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul as the season came to a close.

Donald Nde wrestled very well but came up on the short end of a 2-1 overtime decision against Carson Ties of Rochester Mayo.  When Ties lost his next match, Nde was unable to advance into the wrestlebacks.  Donald finished a great junior season with a 30-12 record.

West, the #5 seed at 113 pounds, won his opening match with a 9-1 major decision over Grant Sussner of Chaska/Chanhassen.  West then dropped a 5-0 decision to eventual runner-up Regan Schrempp of Apple Valley.  In the consolation bracket, West dispatched Cameron Davis of Albert Lea 7-4 and avenged an early-season loss to Stillwater's Javon Taschuk in a 3-1 victory.

Cole was defeated by Ryder Rogotzke of East Ridge and St Michael-Albertville's Brandon Psyk to finish 6th and an overall 19-5 season record.

Rinehart, the #7 seed at 145, pinned St Michael-Albertville's Hayden LeMonds in his opener, but faced eventual State Champion Nate Larson of Apple Valley in round 2.  Rinehart lost that match and headed to the consolation bracket.

Rinehart won an 11-1 major decision over Maxwell Fuecker of Minnetonka and a 7-3 decision over Anoka's Scott Springer in the first two rounds of wrestlebacks. In the consolation semi-finals, Brock lost a 13-7 decision to Dallas Hooper of St Cloud Tech and set up a match against TJ Turinske of White Bear Lake.  Rinehart won a thrilling, last second 9-6 decision to take 5th place.  He finished the season with a 42-7 overall record.
