Science Olympiad Team Success

Congratulations to our WHS Science Olympiad team!

The Woodbury High School Science Olympiad team finished fourth competing against 32 other schools in the 2016 Minnesota Science Olympiad Tournament. The team competed at Bethel University on Saturday, March 5. The top team competes in the national tournament in May.

Science Olympiad is a multi-event competition in the areas of molecular biology, anatomy & physiology, chemistry, physics, earth science, geology, mechanical engineering, and technology. Emphasis is placed on hands-on group participation and team work. The 15 team members earned medals in 8 different competitions.

Congratulations to WHS students Michelle Mao, Alice Wei, Divya Vundamati, David Kim, John Sampson, Emma Lai, Drew Bennett, Daniel Luick, Lizzie Ofori-Amanfo, Jacinta Rivera, Anna Hildebrandt, Kate Philips, David Li, Nidhi Checka, and Seth Thao!
