A number of middle school and 9th grade wrestlers participated in 9th grade sections at Chisago Lakes HS on Tuesday, with Allen Mancera taking 2nd place and advancing to the 9th Grade State Tournament.

Results from Tuesday:  Tyler Higa (0-2), Dino Tokin (0-2), Kaiden Kirby (1-2), Gais Algazi (1-2), Jack Anderson (1-2) and Caleb Howe (2-2, taking 3rd place).  Mancera went 4-1 and took home 2nd place at 189 pounds.

Mancera advances the the MNGWL State Tournament, held on Saturday, February 1 at Champlin Park HS.  Wrestling starts at 8:30am.
