It came down to the final match again Thursday night as the Mustangs of Mounds View edged the Woodbury Royals 37-36 in an SEC bout.

Taking pins on the night were Alex Braun, Will Bents, Sebastian Zamorano, Tre Hockenberger and Mason Barrows; Cade Johnson also took a forfeit victory.

For the junior varsity, Tyler Higa had two wins on the night and Logan Ryan, Gavin Wilson and Ethan Chaney also picked up victories.

Up next for Woodbury, they travel to Roseville Area HS on Thursday for a triangular against the Raiders and #1AA Simley.  Wrestling starts Thursday at 4:30pm.  On Saturday, February 1, the Royals head to Robbinsdale for the Armstrong Duals.  Teams participating include Armstrong, Delano, Eastview, Faribault, Goodhue, Hutchinson, Mahtomedi, Maple Grove, Mounds View, Princeton, Rogers and South St Paul.  Action starts at 9:00am.
