Woodbury continued its momentum Thursday night in White Bear Lake, sweeping duals over the Bears and Cambridge-Isanti.

Against WBL, Alex Braun and Brad Little continued their strong starts to their young careers with Braun winning a 15-0 technical fall and Little winning by fall.  Will Bents and Cade Johnson also picked up pins while Jack Anderson won a tough-7-6 decision.  Sebastian Zamorano and Ahmed Abdelal won by fall, Brock Rinehart took a forfeit victory and Mason Barrows and Dennis Tokin closed out the victory with pins.  Tokin picked up his first varsity victory in the 56-19 defeat of the Bears.

Woodbury took over a back-and-forth dual by winning the final 5 matches in a 48-27 win over the Bluejackets.  Braun outlasted his opponent 7-6 and Little won again by pin to give the Royals an early 9-6 lead.  Bents and Johnson again won by pin but Woodbury lost the next four matches to fall into a 27-21 deficit.  Rinehart (fall), Nick Sieczkowski (fall), Tre Hockenberger (fall), Barrows (decision) and Tokin (fall) took the final 5 matches for the victory.

Coming up this week, the Royals will host a dual against 4th ranked Forest Lake on Thursday.  Action begins at 5:30pm for JV; varsity is slated to start at 7pm.
