The Woodbury Royals wrestling squad qualified 5 individuals for the MSHSL State Wrestling Tournament, set for March 1-2 at the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul.

Cole West breezed through the 120 lb bracket, as did Brock Rinehart at 160 lbs and Donald Nde at 195 lbs.  Both Ahmed Abdelal (182 lbs) and Mason Barrows (220 lbs) took 2nd in their division to qualify for the event next Friday and Saturday.

Individual action for AAA begins at 9am on Friday morning, running continuously.  Podium spots will be determined with 3rd and 5th place matches starting at 4pm Saturday, with individual championship matches slated to start at 7pm.
