Meet our captains!

Hannah Simon

My names Hannah Simon and i've been doing gymnastics for 11 years. I did gymnastics for Rising Stars at the age of 5 to about 12 years old, then i joined the Woodbury High School gymnastics team in 7th grade. Im now a sophomore in high school and this will be my 4th year on the team. I'm looking forward to meeting many new girls that join the team and getting to know one another throughout the gymnastics season. Outside gymnastics I love hanging out with my friends and playing softball. Woodbury High School gymnastics is a great program and I'm super excited to start this new season!

Emma Golden

My Name is Emma Golden and I have been doing gymnastics for 13 years. I was a competitive gymnast at Rising Stars for 9 years and joined the Woodbury High School gymnastics team my sophomore year. This year i will be a senior and it will be my third year on the team. I am looking forward to meeting new gymnasts and watching them grow and improve this upcoming season. Go Royals!

COMMUNICATION AT ITS FINEST!

Would you like to get a reminder text message of meet, event, times and updates?  Just follow the instructions and you will be added to the Woodbury High School Gymnastics group line.  This will only be accessed by myself and will be used to update important events, and give friendly reminders of upcoming meets, events, and bus departures.  I hope this helps in the commucication between all gymnasts families.

Royal Updates

  • Starting in May each year, the Captains will be communicating team bonding events where all current and future gymnasts are very welcomed and highly encouraged to join in, so that we can learn about each other.
  • Off Season is where we make some of the greatest improvements, through increasing strength, mental toughness and also technique to get bigger skills. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the off season!
  • Start thinking about goals for next season and how you will accomplish those goals.

Inspiration

“Tough times never last, but tough people do!”

-Robert Schuller

“As long as you’ve done your best, making mistakes doesn’t matter. You and I are human; we will mess up. What counts is learning from your mistakes and getting back up when life has knocked you down.”

-Shawn Johnson

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!

-Audrey Hepburn

Believe you can and you're halfway there.

-Theodore Roosevelt

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
