Anoka takes Woodbury Duals title again; Royals finish disappointing 7th

The Anoka Tornadoes again swept though the competition to take the title at the Woodbury Duals on Saturday, December 9th.  The Royals finished in 7th place.  Results listed below:

Individually, Cade Johnson, Brady Moesenthin, Brock Rinehart and Donald Nde all went 3-0 for the day.  Will Bents, Sam Ellis and Max Fick both went 2-1.  In addition, Logan Ryan, Bents and Omar Abdelal all won their first varsity matches in their careers.

On the JV side, Nashawn Hoyer (1-0), Omar Abdelal (1-0), Adam Heath (2-0), Alex Mancera (2-0), Tyler Anderson (1-0), and Nick Howe (1-0) went undefeated on the day.

Up next for the Royals is a quad at Lakeville South which will also feature Minneapolis Washburn and Tartan on Thursday, December 14th.  Action begins at 5:00pm.
