Ballpark atmosphere:

The East Ridge baseball field, like the school, is relatively new.  Therefore, the field lacks some of the charms that can be found at CDH, Forest Lake, Park, and Woodbury.  For example, the field has chain-link outfield fences and dugouts, as well as standard aluminum bleachers.

There are some very nice features about games at East Ridge starting with the fact that the ball field is located right next to the school. In fact, I think it's the closest field to the actual school in all of the SEC. This increases student attendance at the games and provides a greater high school atmosphere.  In addition, East Ridge is one of the few programs within the SEC that provide game day lineups to the fans, a very nice touch. The home Raptors dugout is along the third-base line

ALERT: If it is a cold/windy day dress appropriately.  There is very little to block the wind if it is blowing west-to-east, which it normally does.

Rest Room Accommodations:

Port-a-potty.

Shade:

There are a few trees down the first baseline that were planted when the field was built that are starting to produce some nice shade. However, if it is a sunny day and you do not manage to score sitting by/under one of these trees, it would be a good idea to bring sunscreen and/or an umbrella.

Depending upon the timing of the game the school itself generates a great amount of shade on the third baseline for the Raptor parents/supporters.

Seating/Visitor Dugout Location:

Plenty of bleacher seating available, unfortunately, it is your standard hard aluminum with no backrests. Therefore, if you plan on sitting in the bleachers bring a cushion to sit on. There is plenty of room along the first base/right field line where the visitor/Royals dugout is located if you wish to bring a lawn chair.

Parking/Walking Distance:

The parking lot is very close to the field and the walk is amongst the shortest in the SEC.  Park in the North section of the school parking lot by the football practice field.  You should be able to see the ball field from the parking lot.  There are plenty of parking spaces available.

Food:

No on-site concessions.

Places to eat before/after the game:

We all know the hot spots to hit in Woodbury.  However, being that East Ridge is located in Woodbury, I would be remiss if I did not mention our sponsors of the Woodbury High School baseball program which are the McDonalds located at 1759 Weir Drive and Cowboy Jack's located at 1690 Woodlane Drive. Each is located within a few miles of the stadium.
